Kyle Mullen

Mr. Mullen has been underwriting music rights investments since 2017, playing a key role in the launching and successful monetization of Canada’s first pure play music royalty fund, the Barometer Music Royalty Fund I. In 2020, Kyle was a founding partner in Kilometre Music Group, the general partner of the Barometer Global Music Royalty Fund. He has investment experience across the range of music rights types, vintages, genres, and in several major music markets. He has underwritten acquisitions of sound recordings, publishing rights and esoteric rights, and neighboring rights royalty streams, in addition to having acquired rights through share purchases. He has valued rights in Canada, Germany, Romania, South Korea, the UK, South America, Türkiye, and the U.S. His modelling is respected by industry partners, including funds, lenders, brokers, accounting firms, and entertainment lawyers.
