Mr. Gershon has over 30 years of experience in the music industry. He has won 13 Cannes Lions Awards and been nominated for a Grammy. His recording company management experience includes EVP/GM for EPIC Records Sony (worked with Chevelle, Incubus, Ozzy Osbourne, Los Lonely Boys and Cyndi Lauper), President of V2 Records (signed The White Stripes, The Black Crowes, Moby and sold label to PE), Founding Partner of Outpost Records, a JV with Geffen Records (first four albums went Gold or Platinum and label sold to Universal). He has been at the leading edge of music monetization, marketing Moby’s “Play” record into the most licensed album of its time. Most recently, he was a principal of a successful music royalty fund under the name Barometer Music Royalty Fund I.
